Hours

We are available to customers from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. We encourage you to call us and schedule your visit in advance if you want discuss new or ongoing projects.
The facility is accessible to trained users of self-serve instruments from 7:45 AM to 6 PM. Prior on-line scheduling of those instruments is required.
The facility is closed on weekends and major holidays.

Directions
The Facility is located on the University of Utah Campus in Salt Lake City at the School of Medicine (SOM), Room 4A 438.
The School of Medicine is immediately to the south of the University Hospital (see map) and is connected to it on every floor.
Follow the Hospital main hallway until you find the "A" elevators. Go to the 4th floor. On exiting, turn left to return to the main hallway and then immediately right.  Do not cross the bridge back to the Hospital.  The Core Laboratories are sign-posted on the right.

From the Airport
Follow the signs to Interstate 15 southbound. You'll be on I15 for a short stretch, than take I80 eastbound toward the mountains. Before you get to Parley's canyon and I215, take the Foothill Dr. exit. Follow foothill for a few miles. Turn right on Wasatch Dr. to enter the University Campus. There will be signs leading you to the Hospital.

Parking
Parking is available at the main Hospital Visitors Parking. Metered parking can also be accessed at the South of the SOM from 1900 East or Medical Drive South (those streets branch off Medical Drive before you pass the Moran Eye Center and Children's Hospital on your way to the main Hospital).
